Inspired by Gaston Leroux’s The Phantom of the Opera, this ink pairs a shadowy dark cobalt blue with a striking red sheen.
Wearingeul describes the effect as a single rose appearing in the cold darkness beneath the opera house. In writing, the red tends to emerge most strongly where the blue pools, creating a dramatic two-tone effect without added shimmer.
